I finally pulled the trigger tonight and bought an air fryer from Costco. It will come next week. I have a number of recipes that I'd like to try, but they call for air frying ingredients.
If you have an air fryer (that isn't just gathering dust) that you use, what kinds of things do you use it for? And what kinds of things have you found don't work so well?

My son uses it for things like pizza rolls and mini corndogs. I like it because reheating things like fries or left over fried oysters doesn't leave them soggy & limp.
I've used mine to do things like cooking the onions & peppers for fajitas, cooking the chicken for chicken shwarma. I've cooked a small (1.5-2 lb) roast, roasted jalapenos for recipes, etc.

Gosh, it's been decades since we had pizza rolls or corn dogs in the house, and it's pretty rare that I order fries anywhere. But I do like the idea of using it for peppers (which I've got a ton of right now as my garden winds down) for fajitas! I think(?) I could have used it to make sun-dried tomatoes from my excess tomato crop this year, too.
This will be replacing a small toaster oven we have that has features no longer working. It holds a 8x8 pan that we sometimes use to do salmon in, but I would like the option of air frying some stuff.

We use ours to fix veggies with garlic and seasonings, pork chops, and chicken. I've also made some protein chips out of cottage cheese, shredded cheddar, and a bit of seasoning. I've air fried onion slices in it as well and dipped them in sauce, like onion rings without breading.
I found a suggestion I've yet to try though, but I'm hoping to soon. It's apple chopped up and tossed with brown sugar and cinnamon. I can't remember what else, if anything, goes with it but it sounded so good.
